Holiday Presents For Challenged Travelers

In a family of avid travelers where souvenir hunting is cherished and mini appliances are worshipped, it's hard to know what to buy for anyone. Add to that the guilt I feel spending money on silly things in this economy, and you can imagine how much I dread the h*liday season.

But wait! Three items have come across my desk recently that I enjoyed reviewing for my job at Family Travel Forum. Each would make a handy gift, too, and their prices range from the anyone-can-afford-this $15 to the some-people-will-buy-their-true-love-this for $500.  Best yet, you don't have to travel anywhere to enjoy them.

Drum roll...

My three picks for the top value presents of 09 are:

  1. Sony Vaio Signature Series Netbooks.
  2. Logitech's idiot-proof Webcam with Vid Software.
  3. The latest "Wallace & Gromit" video.

Read more about the fully-loaded Sony Vaio Signature Series Netbooks that sell for $499.

Read more about the user-friendly Logitech Pro Webcam which sells for $99, and its cool and comfy headsets that go for $99 as well.

Read more about the new video from our favorite claymation characters: "Wallace & Gromit: A Matter of Loaf & Death" which sells for $14.98

And happy holidays!
