Stand up Paddleboard (SUP) gives you the opportunity to skim across the surface of the water, on a solid board that’s very similar to a surfboard, and allows you to explore the majestic Florida coast off Key Largo with ease. You may also see this sport referred to as Yoloing, named for the company, Yolo Boards, who manufacture a new line of these bouyant devices.

If you're not familiar with Key Largo, this popular island in the archipelago off Florida's south Atlantic coast is just 30 minutes' drive south of Miami and six miles from the famous John Pennekemp Coral Reef State Park. If you’re not into Stand up Paddle board, The Key Largo Grande is featuring an array of alternative water activities you and your family can choose from. Consider any of the following fun adventures:

-- 1/2 Hour Use of a “high-speed personal water craft”
-- 2 Hour Use of a Sailboat

Each adult can choose only one aquatic activity per day; note that age and/or weight restrictions may apply to some activities.  Due to space limitations, snorkel tours may be provided by an offsite operator.

For this package, rates do not include taxes, gratuities or incidental charges. One water sport per stay, per adult is available for up to two (2) adults per room.

If you get into the sport big time, rentals for SUP yolo boards begin at $30 per hour, $45 for two hours. Two children may share one board at the same time for no extra charge, subject to age and weight restrictions. Special charters can be arranged with Caribbean Watersports and Enviro Tours to combine your use of the SUP and Hobie Kayaks with guided nature tours of the protected islands of Everglades National Park.
