Jewish Focus Tours Lead Families on Cultural Journeys Around the World

IsramWorld, a leading tour operator, has announced new Jewish-interest tours for a number of select destinations, including Spain, South America, Morocco, Eastern Europe, Russia and the Baltics, China and India. Established in 1967, IsramWorld is celebrating its 42nd anniversary and they have an excellent reputation for their tours of the Middle East, so we think these will be of great interest.

Their new Jewish focus tours are designed to feature unique itineraries, including briefings with representatives of local Jewish communities; Visits to synagogues, both ancient and modern as well as Jewish institutions; Shabbat dinners; guided tours of Jewish sites and Jewish-interest events, encounters and experiences. According to  a spokesperson, "These highlights -- along with the general sights and experiences that no Jewish traveler would dream of missing -- are what make IsramWorld's Jewish-interest tours different from any other."

Rates will in keeping with their first class style, but are still reasonable. One example is their Budapest & Prague 7D/6N package, priced at $1168 per person. This price includes:

    * Flight between Budapest and Prague
    * 6 Nights at a centrally located, First Class hotel
    * Buffet breakfast daily
    * 3 Hour sightseeing tour, by motor coach, in each city
    * Private car transfers
    * All hotel taxes and service fees

This rate does not include air travel from your homebase to Prague, Czech Republic. On their Russian trips, which are priced at the same level as their 2009 departures, if you reserve your departure date before February 28, 2010, you can save $100 per person.

The IsramWorld Jewish Cultural tours will be led by a well-known scholar-guest lecturer, Jacob Shoshan, and will include the finest of accommodations, air-conditioned vehicles and bountiful meals. The focus is on the Jewish cultural traveler and not necessarily the most devout religious practitioner. Tour meals are not kosher, however, they don't have any bus tours on Friday after sundown, and no pork or shellfish is served. Additionally, requests for all dairy, vegan and other food needs can be accommodated.

They promise to be very interesting programs offering a new way to explore many fascinating countries.
