Get Sloshed with the Kids at Wilderness At The Smokies $279 - 2N

This Spring, leave the king to worry about the Ides of March and get soaked at Wilderness at the Smokies in Tennessee. The largest indoor and outdoor water park is offering special rates from now until mid-March, where guests can snag two nights accommodations plus resort activities for as low as $279.

For those looking to stay beyond these dates, the resort is also offering the chance to save up to $150/N on selected room styles at the Stone Hill Lodge and River Lodge hotels. We priced double rooms with sample dates in early to mid-March, and came up with a starting price of around $177/N, which includes taxes.

Both of these offers come along with admission and passes to the water park, an attraction ticket package and, best of all, allow kids to eat free. Unlike the heavily discounted two-night special, the "Save Up to $150" offer is valid for any vacations you book in 2010.

The resort this year is also excited to announce the addition of Runaway Canyon, a five-story-high enclosed waterslide measuring more than 450-feet and featuring a total drop of almost 60-feet. Using more than 8,000 gallons of water per minute, Runaway Canyon propels up to four people in rafts through a series of exciting, totally enclosed twists, turns and drops.

For more information, visit the Wilderness at the Smokies website or call at 877/325-9453. The two-night special offer is good until March 10, 2010 and reservations may be made online. Don't believe that this will be a really fun getaway with the kids? Watch this video -
