Our friends from The Canyons Resort tore themselves away from the Sundance Film Festival this week to report that they just had a week when over 5 feet of snow fell and accumulated like angel dust on their slopes.

Their good news, sent straight from Park City, Utah, continued: "We more than doubled our base depth on the top of 9990 feet, which is now at 68 inches! We are currently sitting at 134 inches of total snowfall for the 2009/2010 season!"

That's really good  news for families who may be thinking about a President's Week trip out West, or maybe just a nice Spring Break skiing adventure with the kids. Conditions are on track to be awesome through Easter.

Canyons is conveniently located near to lively Park City, a fun place to check out the apres-ski scene. With seven different moutain faces, there's bound to be plenty of terrain to suit the ability level of everyone in the family. You can read more about the mountain and this resort area in Laura Sutherlands' review of The Canyons.

So what's the deal?  In a new B&B offer, The Canyons Winter Bed & Breakfast Package, family members will receive a voucher good for a hot breakfast at any of the mountain's official mountainside lodging properties. With each double room, priced at $98/N per person, you'll receive two breakfast vouchers each night of your stay that can be used at a number of restaurants throughout the resort. If your family springs for a 2BR condo, and there are many good values available, that comes with 4 breakfast vouchers.

The offer is valid through April 13, 2010. To find out more and learn about other restrictions visit The Canyons website or call them at 866/604-4171.
