4D Rafting Grand Canyon with Wilderness River Adventures for $730 PP
Anyone here at FTF would relish the chance to be a kid again, so we were pleased to hear that Wilderness River Adventures (WRA) is offering a package for just that. On select dates starting in mid-March, guests of all ages can experience white-water rafting through the Grand Canyon and pay at a child's rate.
Rates for the “Be a Kid Again” special offer begin at $730 per person for a four-day motorized rafting trip through the canyon. These tours are offered in early to mid-May and late June. Other value season trips include the five-day oar boat trip, offered August 2-6, 2010 with prices beginning at $875 per person. WRA offers several other options for trips lasting up to 12 days throughout the 2010 year for the "Be a Kid Again" rate.
WRA’s oar trips put your family right in the middle of the action and offer a slower-paced ride while taking in the majestic canyon walls. Both oar-driven and motorized trips provide guests with healthy meals, snack food and drinks along the way, a waterproof bag for clothing, sleeping bag with foam pad and ground tarp, tents, a waterproof container for cameras and other devices, life jacket and a Wilderness River Adventures T-shirt.
WRA prides itself on being a family-friendly adventure outfitter and provides everything the family needs to make the experience one to remember. Throughout any itinerary, an expert crew will navigate passengers through the rapids and even act as guides on the area’s geological and historical features and stories.
If you have a family of four or more, be sure to ask about WRA’s Family Adventure Special, a six-day, five-night 188-mile journey rafting and camping under the stars. The package also includes a flight back to the Page or Las Vegas airports. Rates begin at $2,215 per person and $2045 per person with a group of four or more. Children under 16 and under at the time of the trip can join for only $1790.
Guests should be aware that for motorized boat trips, the minimum age is 8; for oar boats, the minimum age is 12. For more information and to make reservations, visit the Wilderness River Adventures website or call at 800/992-8022.
