Half-Off Family Rates at Jamaica's Round Hill

The elite Round Hill Hotel & Villas, situated on beautiful Montego Bay on Jamaica's north coast, is currently offering vacation deals specifically for families, making it easier to take a luxurious and relaxing summer or fall getaway. Although there have been recent violent clashes between local gangs and police in the capital of Kingston, in fact, the tourist mecca of Mo'Bay is more than one hundred miles away and has experienced none of the current troubles.

Therefore, if you're comfortable visiting this beautiful island with your family, now is the time to book one of Round Hill's 27 private villas, each with two to six bedrooms, that can be rented out in their entirety or as suites.

For larger families, the two-bedroom villas are available with a 50% reduction on the second suite for three children up to age 12 with a minimum three-night stay. The villas each have their own veranda and living room. Available with or without private pools, they are also surrounded by 30 acres of tropical gardens. Rates begin at $700 per night, so the second suite would be $350 per night; they're available from May 1 to October 31, 2010.

In addition to its villas, Round Hill also offers a family-friendly deal at its Pineapple House, which contains 36 oceanfront rooms recently redesigned by Ralph Lauren, a long-time Round Hill resident. Families receive 50% off a separate adjoining room for three children up to age 12, or one complimentary extra bed for a child sharing a room with parents. Rates begin at $335 per night based on double occupancy and a minimum stay of three nights, available from May 1 to October 31, 2010.

Families will also benefit from free complimentary nanny service of up to three hours a day, the free Pineapple Kids Tennis Clinic during July and August, and other activities for children including pony rides and glass bottomed boat excursions. Children under 12 years of age also receive 50% off of any meal plan.
