FTF Travel Writing Scholarships

Have you ever taken an unexpectedly wonderful -- or terrible but funny -- trip with your family? Or have you journeyed somewhere with a school group or sports team and have some advice on how to make the most of your experience or destination? Have you taken a trip somewhere that opened up new ways of looking at the world?

Family Travel Forum (FTF), the web's leading community for family travelers, conducts scholarship contests that encourage everyone to write about their travel experiences.  Many of these have been held in conjunction with the prestigious Society of American Travel Writers, who provide professional judges. Merit awards are distributed each fall during the annual Teen Travel Writing Scholarship open to students ages 13-18. In spring, travelers ages 18-26 can apply to FTF's Young Travel Writers Scholarship and win a travel stipend.
