"These rankings are based on the reviews submitted by vacationers themselves," Mr. Cox explains. "They are asked to evaluate each resort or camp in 16 different categories, including all aspects of the tennis experience—from game matching and teaching staff to tournaments and round robins—and such diverse characteristics as the quality of the lodging, restaurants, children's programs, and value for dollar. Those reviews and then tabulated to compile a numerical ranking."

TRO's detailed evaluations enabled them to highlight resorts with the top Overall Children's Programs (both for teaching tennis and for taking care of kids) and the Best Junior Programs (for teaching tennis to serious young players.)
