No need to worry: FTF consultants found plenty of hotels in Las Vegas, Nevada, that cater to children.

Traditionally known as an adult getaway where casinos take center stage, this city also has something to offer your young ones. The children's facilities range from youth centers in hotels to exciting theme park rides that have kids on the edge of their seats.  Note that due to strict Nevada daycare laws, most hotels will not provide childcare to under-3s or those not yet toilet-trained, though many parents use the services of the recommended local agencies noted below and book private caregivers to come to their rooms in the evening.

Babysitters for Adult-Only Fun

If it's babysitting service you need, then it's babysitting service you'll get. Although most hotels in Las Vegas don't provide any type of babysitting, there are separate, licensed services that will go to almost all hotels and provide the kid-watching for you. Most charge a flat rate for the first four hours, and then charge hourly after that. So whenever you feel the need to spend some time apart from your kids, you can call one of these services:

Nannys & Grannys
702/364-4700
$60 for the first 4 hours, $10 per hour after that

Around The Clock
702/365-1040
$75 for the first 4 hours, $15 per hour after that

For more information on the region and its lodging choices, contact the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Bureau (702/892-0711). As far as families with kids under age 21 goes, they are the least receptive or welcoming tourist organization we've ever encountered, but probably helpful enough to send out free maps and brochures.
